City Gears Up to Construct Sky Walk

Jakarta Bina Marga Dept plans to build a sky walk or a staircase connecting to flyover of Transjakarta bus plying Corridor XIII and station of Mass Rapid Transit (MRT).

Head of Jakarta Overpass and Intersection Dept, Heru Suwondo disclosed that sky walk will be built on the junction of CSW Kebayoran Baru.

"There will be sky walk. We coordinate with MRT. Considering we plan to build in the upcoming Juni until November," he expressed, Monday (3/14).

MRT Construction Reaches 38 Percent

His side will coordinate with PT MRT Jakarta. "This project is probably managed by Transportation Dept. Our bus stop with MRT station is close," he said.

Besides MRT, sky walk will also be integrated with JORR Toll Road in Pesanggrahan and Cipulir markets, where flyover of Transjakarta plying corridor III will pass both areas.
